Helping in Tile Workshop for New Nursery Building

We are currently aiding a community project at a local school, working in collaboration with architect Claire Bandy and the school’s Art Teacher to deliver a hands-on workshop for Year 4 pupils.

Each child is designing and creating their own façade tile for the new nursery building, introducing them to new skills of making, as well as the broader process of manufacturing, construction and project management behind delivering a building.

We have sponsored the materials for the project and are working closely with the team throughout the workshop sessions to help bring the concept to life.

The finished tiles will be installed on the new nursery building in July, forming a permanent feature of the school and a lasting record of the children’s involvement in the project.
