We’ve been working with JD Gyms since the day B2PM was founded back in May 2017. Our very first project as a business was JD Gyms Derby, and what started as a single fit-out has grown into a long-term partnership. Since that first project, we’ve managed around fifty-six gym fit-outs for JD Gyms across Great Britain and Northern Ireland, supporting them as they’ve expanded into one of the most recognisable fitness brands in the UK.
JD Gyms clubs are known for offering a huge range of high-quality cardio and strength equipment, large free weights zones, and specialist areas for functional training, boxing, sprint tracks and sled work. Every site needs to feel energetic, bold and durable, and creating that environment involves a detailed blend of technical, structural and visual elements. One of the stand-out projects during our time working together was JD Gyms Enfield, which became the brand’s 100th club and their first “organic” site within the M25. It attracted significant industry and media attention, and it was a proud milestone for everyone involved.
Across all JD Gyms projects, our role is to provide full project management services, keeping delivery structured, coordinated and predictable. Typical programmes run between ten and eighteen weeks and can include anything from soft strip-out and roof works to, new foundations, mezzanines, stair installations, drainage, performance flooring, full M&E packages, signage, AV, and gym security systems. Each site has its own quirks, but the core challenge is always the same: bring together a large number of workstreams and specialist trades without losing control of pace or quality.
With over fifty sites delivered, we’ve built a deep understanding of what makes a JD Gyms project successful, and that experience has helped position us as one of the leading project management teams for commercial leisure fit-outs across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
