We’ve been working with JD Sports since 2023, delivering a wide-ranging modernisation programme across their Head Office Campus in Bury and the Distribution Centre offices in Rochdale. The aim is to upgrade a busy, multi-building estate while keeping a major retail operation running smoothly, which means careful sequencing, clear communication and a steady hand on the detail.
So far, we’ve completed full refurbishments for the Retail, Size, Legal, Own Brand, Customer Services, Logistics, Digital, Property and Finance teams, along with the Executive Offices, Boardroom and Executive Lounge. Each phase has its own requirements, but all follow the same principle: creating modern, open, collaborative spaces that support JD’s growing teams.
Works have included new open-plan layouts, kitchens, coffee stations, meeting rooms and hybrid-ready conferencing spaces. Technical packages have covered M&E installations, acoustic upgrades, IT and network infrastructure, AV integration and pod workspaces, along with bespoke furniture. More complex elements—such as mezzanine structures, Velux window installations and a bridge link connecting existing buildings—add the kind of challenges that benefit from structured project leadership.
Programme durations typically run between eight and twenty weeks, depending on scope. With several phases often overlapping, maintaining momentum while minimising operational disruption is central to our role.
The programme will continue through 2026, and the relationship works because it’s built on trust. JD rely on us to manage a large and evolving portfolio with clarity, consistency and a practical approach—delivering spaces that elevate the workplace while keeping the day-to-day running without interruption.
